"The legs of the chameleon"

The workshop is to present my culture with my way of dancing and teaching as an artwork.
I use daily life elements, rules, games, behavior, attitude, and the thoughts that
composed the traditional elements and therefore using their essences and
social context to make the dance happen, give and receive.

That personal way of teaching African traditional dances include the repetition
of a lot of simple basics steps, not with choreography. For the teachers and the student
that process of transmission, it's really crucial to allow us to dive into the deepness, the discovering,
the different layers who composed, makes, the Dances of our Fathers:

The Methodology, the approach of Anani Dodji Sanouvi,
together with specific movement of the Acogny's Technique, powerfully related to the presence of the percussion drums lives will help you to taste, touch, sense those dances and rhythms and that is my preoccupation and responsibilities as an African contemporary Dancer on that kind of workshops. Not to make people become professional dancer by executing choreography.

The goal is to give a clue, knowledge, about that complex culture trough the dance to also provide self challenge, cross limit, happiness, well being, better coordination, flexibility, balance, and spinal mobility. Increase energy levels, improve posture. And increase connection with your own body.

Dates : Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st January
Times : 16:30 - 19:00 (2h and half)

Fee : Euro 25,- one class / Euro 45,- for the 2 days classes
