With 5 years of experience The Uzumé has been organizing events, featuring guest dancers and artists from all over world. Offering an accessible stage for both amateurs and professionals, they have been creating a platform for the European Tribal Fusion Dance community, introducing new talents to the stage and pushing boundaries within fusion bellydance. Their shows have grown into cross-over multidisciplinary entertainment, and are widely recognized as a must-see for exploring new ideas and inspiration.

Hot Technique and Spicy Combinations (Mira Betz)
Clear and supportive instruction on refined technique and improvisational combos.

16.00-18.30 hrs: 2,5 hrs € 50 (S1)
Combinations for improvisation (Samantha Emanuel)
Play with Tribal Style movements through practicing short combinations with varying tempos. Slow and strong, fast and fluid. Including cues to signal the combination thus enabling the dancer to add it to an improvised group performance piece.

‘FLASHDANCE' Try-out stage @ New Dance Studios Amsterdam
(Limited spaces, 50 max)
In the safe and private surroundings of New Dance Studios, The Uzumé offers an informal 'stage' for the novice performer (beginner or intermediate). A ‘try-out' for an intimate (50 max) audience of colleages, fellow students, friends and/or family. Professional feedback is possible on request. Spaces are limited! Reserve your tickets or buy them in class. If you want to perform, please send an email with your idea's and full name.

Taxeem, All That Oozes (Mira Betz)
Focusses on arms and hands and moving slowly, with power and intention.

11.00-13.00 hrs: 2 hrs € 40 (S2)
Hypnosis, Sam Style (Samantha Emanuel)
Samantha's short distinctive combos are fused into this new choreography. Strengthening techniques and drills, utilizing new and old concepts for supporting the core key muscle groups. This piece flows at a slower tempo for liquefied arms, strong posture and clean technique. Bring kneepads for potential floor work.

Technique for the Versatile Dancer (Mira Betz)
A class that crosses the boundaries of specific style, great for both cabaret and tribal students.

13.30-15.30 hrs: 2 hrs € 40 (S3)
Honky Tonk of Worm Land (Samantha Emanuel)
Samantha fuses her short distinctive combos in an original choreography. Strengthening techniques and drills for these combos will be included, utilizing concepts and inspirations from her Tribal Style training and Martial Arts experience. Including breakdown of her signature articulated locking technique plus spins turns and twists aplenty.
