Quote Jorge Vasques:
I hope to see a lot of dancers there. Kat Worthington is one of the best Horton teachers I've ever had the pleasure to taking class from, and I'm very happy and excited that she has taken time to come here to Amsterdam to share her knowledge and experience with us.

About Kat's Horton class:
The Modern Technique Class taught by Kat is based on the principles of the Lester Horton Technique, as taught at the Ailey School in NYC. A typical class begins standing, rather than sitting, like some other modern techniques. It progresses across the floor with movement phrases, turns and jumps. The Horton Technique is designed to correct and improve upon dancers' physical limitations so that they might pursue any form of dance. The
class develops both strength and flexibility as well as musicality and performance qualities. Kat loves teaching this particular technique because it helps create dancers who are long and strong. Go to www.copiousdance.org to see a video of the class.
