Alesandra Seutin, Artistic Director and Choreographer of Vocab Dance Company (London, UK) will be teaching an Afro Eclectic Dance workshop; this is a premiere in Amsterdam! Don't miss out...

Afro Eclectic Dance takes its roots in traditional African dance, combined to a contemporary flow and the dynamic of urban dance.

Alesandra Seutin will lead you in a high energy class were the participants will be challenged to move their bodies with a graceful power to take off in a fluid motion whilst focusing on the mobility of the spine and sternum, musicality and rhythmic polyphony of the body, which will allow them to explore the space in many ways and dynamics. The traditional African gestures will support the development of a creative dance and openness, to result in the appropriation of all these elements by the dancer.
This workshop is aimed at intermediate and professional dancers but also to anyone wishing to discover a new style.
